Margaret Parlier

Margaret (Dale) Parlier 70 of Boone Passed away Monday, September 4th, 2017 at her home.  Born September 20th, 1946 she was the daughter of the late RV and Elaine Mathis Simmons.   In addition to her husband James of 34 years; two daughters Ginger Powell and husband Mike of South Carolina, Brenda Harbour and husband David of Mississippi; a step daughter Michelle Williams and husband Chance of Newton; a step son Jimmy Parlier and wife Laura of Denver; a brother Ronald Simmons and wife Kay of Alabama; special friend and caretaker Brenda Harris of Boone; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and many friends and neighbors in Boone, NC and Denver, NC survive her.    In addition to her parents her infant sister Hazel Simmons preceded her in death. Margaret's Celebration of life will be 2:00pm Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joel Frye officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm   Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home .   In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care
