Margaret Smith

Margaret Jane Smith 75, of Lincolnton died Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born August 17th, 1940, she was the daughter of the late David and Edith Simmons Sigmon. Margaret was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Catawba, worked for McCreary Modern for over 9 years, and worked for Quality Southern Weaving for 19 years. Three sons Ronald Smith of Lincolnton, David Smith and wife Angela of Lincolnton; Timothy Smith and wife Cynthia of Morganton; a sister Betty Thompson and husband Roger of Stanley; two brothers Paul Sigmon of Concord, Charles Sigmon and wife Patricia of Maiden; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a special friend Beverly Rinck survive her. The funeral will be 2:00pm Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Clark officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthews UCC.
