Maria Guerra-Navarro

Maria Elena Guerra, 79, of Lincolnton passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Atrium Health Mercy. Born Monday, February 2nd, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Francisco Guerra Pimenteo and Aurora Martinez.

Those who survive her are her children: Luz Maria Garcia Navarro, Soledad Zapien, Francisco Rodríguez, Olga Rodriguez.

Many grandchildren: Linda Zapien, Ana Maria Garcia, Ibon Zapien, Maribel Garcia, Nanci Garcia Navarro, Ruby Zapien, Ickokzz Takeshi Lopez, Cindy Rodriguez, Yesenia Garcia-Navarro, Eric Rodriguez, Francisco Rodriguez, Citlali Lopez, Nely de Jesus Lopez, Juan Pablo Lopez, Victoria Lopez, Milton Roman Lopez.

Seven great-grandchildren: Miguel Angel Juarez, Veronica Castañeda, Romeo Garcia, Natalie Juarez, Giovanni Garcia, Yuri Rae Revels, Emma Kantorowski.

Three sons-in-law, and one daughter-in-law: Luis Garcia Ceja, Antonio Zapien, Susana Rodriguez, Meliton Lopez.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, March 5th, 2021 at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Jenkins Funeral Home Cemetery. Receiving of friends will be 5:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, March 4th, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
