Maria Lee

On Friday, August 19th, 2022, Maria Lee, loving life partner and mother of 3 children, passed away at the age of 41. Maria was born on October 24th, 1980 in Stockton, CA to Chong Va Lee and Xai Yang. Her family moved often and finally settled in Conover, NC in 1996. She graduated from Bunker Hill High School in 1999 and became a machine operator for many years, at Schneider Mills. She later met the love of her life, Jason Parsons, and shared 3 beautiful children, a dog and a home. Maria dedicated her whole life to family, friends and God. She enjoyed cooking, vacationing, family time and hanging out with friends. She was kind, giving, funny, caring and humble. Maria had a great fascination with collecting vintage items, such as Christmas ornaments and home decors. She was preceded in death by her father, Chong. She is survived by her mother, Xai (81); 3 brothers, Va Meng (45), Phong (43) and Jacob (40); sister, Chee (51); sister-in-law, Pang (44); life partner, Jason Parsons (49); 3 children, Jayden (17), Maleah (15) and Aoike (8); 4 nephews, Thomas (34), Nicholas (26), Christian (22) and Draven (7); 4 nieces, Stacy (32), Nikki (31), Melanie (14) and Elin (10); 3 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.

A service will be held Saturday, August 27 from 9:00 am until noon at Jenkins Funeral Home.
