Marjorie (Marcie) Elizabeth Conner 65 of Hickory passed away Monday, July 9th, 2018 at her home. Born May 31st, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Bobby Whisnant and Constance Boyd Whisnant. Marcie was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was everything and then some.
Her husband of 6 years Anthony Wayne Conner of the home; a daughter Cheri Lineberger and husband Matthew of Conover; a son Kenneth Anderson and wife Dana of Newton; a step daughter Natalie Conner of Maiden; two sisters Regina Kuchta of Summerville, SC, Robbie Rice and husband Billy of Hickory; a brother Charles Whisnant and wife Wanda of Hickory; and five grandchildren Blake, Andy, Cole, Kendan, Leighton; three great grandchildren Chasyn, Annistyn, Guilianna; and three nephews Marcus, Chris, and Tyler survive her.
In addition to her parents; her brother William (Billy) Whisnant preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be 4:00pm Thursday, July 12th, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm Thursday, July 12th, 2018 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
