Marlon Short, 66, of Newton, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at his home under Carolina Caring Hospice Care. Born March 24th, 1955 he was the son of Jenette Collins. If you knew Marlon, you knew how much he loved his family and close friends. He was a great man with a good heart, and will truly be missed.
In addition to his mother, Marlon is survived by his daughter, Snow; Fiancee Rena Henderson; sister, Elizabeth Fowler; three nieces and two nephews.
Father, Gifford Collins; Siblings, Sherry Wood and Philip Collins preceded him in death.
