Marlon Newell Touchberry, 46 of Anderson Street died Saturday January 13, 2007 at his residence. Born December 2, 1960 in Sumter, SC he was the son of James Mobley Touchberry of Sumter, SC and the late Shelby Jean Burr Touchberry. In addition to his father, survivors include his wife of 17 years, Sybil Ann Blanton Touchberry of the home, two daughters, Lisa Touchberry and Lauren Touchberry of Florida; two step-daughters, Cherie Lynn Smith of the home and Tina Marie Cook of Taylorsville; two step-sons, Marcus Anthony Cook of the home and Michael Dwayne Rippy of Claremont; a sister Tamelia Elizabeth Wagner of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Dr. Crys Armbrust of Tryon, NC and Bryant Siegfried Touchberry of Columbia, NC; a number of grandchildren; a niece, Kimberly Jean Burnette of Laurens, SC; and two nephews, Steven John Burnette of Laurens, SC and John Paul Burnette of Greenville, SC. A brother, Kenny Touchberry preceded him in death. A graveside Service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday January 18, 2007 at Startown-Jenkins Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Ed Yount officiating. Pallbearers will be Garland Hartsoe, II, Howard Cannon, Casey Bedford, Steven Burnette, John Burnette and Michael Rippy.
