Martha Smith

Martha Marie Smith, 58, of Newton died Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at at her home. Born July 2nd, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Ziegler Higgins and Pearl Smith Higgins. Martha was a homemaker.   Husband, Brian Bumgarner; daughter, Crystal Prather and husband Brian of Newton, NC; son, Shannon Wesson and wife Crystal of Maiden, NC; grandchildren, Jasmine and Jaelyn Hayes,  Emma Prather, Rylee Wesson survive her. A celebration of her life will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 9th, 2017 at  Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral home, 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC with The Rev. Dr. Stephen R. Disher officiating.
