Marvin Arnett

December 31, 1969 — October 30, 2023

Marvin Andrew Arnett, Jr. 64 of Claremont died Monday, October 30, 2023 at Decedent's Home. Born October 3rd, 1959 in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Marvin was kind, loving, and caring. He loved to party and be around others. His heart was so full of love and passion. He absolutely loved rock and roll music and would turn it up as often as he could. One of his favorite songs was Free Byrd. He also loved the news and knowing what is going on in the world around him. Our fondest memories of him were when we played games together. We would always laugh, cut up and just enjoy each other’s time together. He enjoyed Nascar racing, wizards, wrestling, and collecting hot wheel cars. His favorite food was fish, so Captain D’s was a much loved place to meet and eat for him. He also loved watching football every Sunday, especially the Steelers.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parent Marvin Andrew Arnett Sr., Father, and Shirley Jean Arnett, As well as his wife, Angela Sue Arnett, who was the best thing that ever happened to him and he loved her with every ounce of his being.

Marvin is survived by two daughters, Sheena Mitruska and husband Joshua and Kimberly Lapcevich and husband Jesse and four grandchildren, Cheyenne Mitruska, Madison Lapcevich, Kaitlyn Lapevich and Natalie Lapevich. He would always want to make his granddaughters happy even if that meant giving them everything they could possibly want. He was called a big teddy bear because he looked tough, but in reality he was an extremely soft and kind person.

He will be missed dearly but we know he is with our momma. We love you daddy bye for now not for ever.

Graveside Service will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 11:00am at the Jenkins Funeral Home Cemetery.
