Mary Campbell

September 10, 1934 — September 24, 2015

Mary Keener Campbell, 81 of Hickory died Thursday, September 24th, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born September 10th, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Velma Cline Keener.

Mary liked to collect Angels, and enjoyed doing many crafts. She loved shopping and putting on a annual Christmas party. Mary enjoyed watching football and pulling for her Panthers on Sunday. She attended church every Sunday rain or shine. Most of all Mary loved being a grandmother and enjoyed every minute with them.

A daughter, Wanda Campbell of Hickory; three sons Reginald Campbell and wife Kim of Hickory, Tony Campbell and wife Sandra of Hickory, Jeff Campbell and wife Kathy of Hickory; three brothers Charlie Keener and wife Mary, Howard Keener and wife Gwen of Hickory, Bob Keener and wife Debbie of Hickory; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great grandchild survive her.

In addition to her parents; two daughters Jackie C. Evans, Bobbie C. Heavner; a son Robert Campbell; two sisters Mildred Workman, and Lorene Griffey; a grand daughter Casey Campbell, and a great-grand daughter Mary Rose Campbell preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Bethel Evangelical and Reformed Church at 4547 Bethel Church Rd. Hickory, NC 28602 or Catawba Regional Hospice at 3975 Robinson Rd, Newton, NC 28658.

The funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at Bethel Evangelical and Reformed Church with Pastor Anne Wepner officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at Bethel Evangelical and Reformed Church.
