Mary Lail

Mary Ann Lail, 90, of Vale died Sunday, March 15th, 2015 at her home. Born July 22nd, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Franklin Andrew and Bessie Cantor Frazier. Mary was a loving mother, and grandmother. Four daughters, Helen Smith of Valdese, Oleta Elmore of Cat Square, Libby Helms and husband Bobby of Lincolnton, Genny Lail of Hickory; three sons William Lail of Vale, Max Lail and wife Kathy of Lincolnton, Richard Lail and wife Sharon of Virginia; a sister Bervia Cooper of Purlear; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great- great- grandchildren survive her. In addition to her husband of 28 years, James Leonard Lail and her parents; two sons, Thomas Lail, John Lail; three sisters Cordelia Austin, Zeola Gould, Mayo Barlowe; and a brother Don Frazier precede her in death. The funeral will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 at Hoyle Memorial Christian Fellowship Church with William Kanupp officiating. Burial will follow at Hoyle Memorial Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am -1:00 pm Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 at the church.
