Melinda Vess Winters passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born, June 17th, 1989 she was the daughter of Greg Nelson (Amanda) and Regina V. Nelson.
She is survived her husband of 16 years, William Winters "Aaron" of Hickory and their son, Bryson Winters; a brother, Zack Nelson (Emalie) of Newton; an uncle, David Vess; a sister-in-law, Heather Partin (Josh) of Hickory and their children, Madison, Mylen and Micah; a sister-in-law, Lauren Good (Justin) of Charlotte; a mother-in-law, Annette Hudspeth (Jimmy) of Hickory; a father-in-law, Chris Winters of TN; and many loved cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 29th, 2024 from 3-4PM in Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center with the Celebration of Life following afterwards in Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Josh Partin officiating the service.
