Michael Gerst

Michael Anthony Gerst, 47, of Lincolnton passed away Saturday, March 18th, 2017 at his home. Born October 9th, 1969, he was the son of Mary McGuigan Posluszny and the late William Joseph Gerst, Jr..   In addition to his mother Mary Gerst-Posluszny; his wife of nine years Robin Gerst; a daughter Jacklyn Gerst of Lincolnton; three sons John Gerst of Vale, Andrew Gerst of Charlotte, Adam Gerst of Lincolnton; three brothers William Gerst and wife Estela of Baltimore, MD, Joseph (Jay) Gerst and wife Amy of Mt. Ulla, Pete Gerst and wife Amanda of Pittsburgh, PA survive him.   The funeral will be 12:00pm Friday, March 24th, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm-5:00pm and from 7:00pm-9:00pm Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 and 11:00am-12:00pm Friday, March 24th, 2017 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
