Michael Taylor

Michael Andrew Taylor, 57, of Claremont passed away Saturday, June 24th, 2023.  Born, October 2nd, 1965 he was the son of the late Aaron Junior Taylor and Mary Maletio Taylor .

He is survived by his significant other, Lorri Taylor, whom he met in High School and became Sweethearts. Also his two Furbabies, Toby and Bella, his pride and joys.

Surviving are his sisters, Tammy Hux of Lenoir, Denise Rhoney of Hickory, and Janice Keener Andrukaitis of Hickory.

Also including his mother and father in law, Evelyn Cook Robertson and James Robertson of Hildebran. Sisters and Brother in Law, Sherry and Dwayne Starnes,also two nieces Hailey and Hannah Starnes all of Washington State, Maryanne and Patrick Roberston of Marion NC.. Jaime and Scott Robertson of Jonesboro TN.

Mike was an alumni of East Burke Class of 84 where he loved playing basketball. His hobbies also included playing golf, Hotrods, and Car Shows.

Mike was a long time fixture at Steve White Motors in Conover. He loved his repeat customers and friends he met throughout his 27 years of Service. SWM was his second home and family. I  have never met a group of people whom bond and truly love each other. You would hear plenty of his saying in the showroom many of times....

"What are we doing here"   "Cheese"  "Are you here for the big Sale?''  "Half price, everything on the lot"   'Board it"  "Its gonna be what its gonna be" and the good ole hand gesture he would do with his pointer finger and thumb....its a car code. He will be missed by many of his "family" friends there.

Celebration of Life will be held June 26th 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM at Philadelphia Baptist Church, 7654 George Hildebran School Rd, Connelly Springs, NC 28612.

Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
