Mildred Crow

Mildred Jane Maynard Crow, 86 of Tiffany Street, Conover died Monday, April 30, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born July 12, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. Maynard and Stella Agnet Barnes Maynard. Mildred was a member of First Baptist Church in Newton and worked at Carolina Mills for 48 years. A son, Allie Steven Crow and wife Pamela of Conover; daughter in law, Debra Crow of Newton; four grand-children, Heather Crow, Andrew Crow, Jennifer Crow, Christopher Crow and wife Stephanie and two great grand-children, Roman Crow and Lincoln Crow survive her. In addition to her husband of 56 years, Bryan Howard Crow Sr.; a son, Bryan Howard Crow Jr. and daughter, Patricia Ann Crow and a sister, Allie Lee Satterwhite preceded her in death. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Newton with Pastor Tommy Hullette officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Friday at the church. A private burial will be at Catawba Memorial Park.
