Myrtie Jean Sloop 78 of Morganton died Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care. Born April 2nd, 1937 she was the daughter of Emory Brown and Anna Chaney Brown.
A daughter, Ginger Hambright of Granite Falls; three sons, Barry Hooks of Morganton, Terry Brown and Robert Wayne Hooks, Sr. of Lincolnton survive her.
