Nadine Mcknight

Nadine Stewart McKnight, 81, of Newton passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Carolina Caring. Born July 18th, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Jessie Stewart.

She worked for 40 years Catawba Valley Medical Center in the office for nutrition care.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years Franklin McKnight of Newton, her son Jeffery (Pamela) Stewart of Newton, her daughter Tamara (Thomas) Phillips of Conover, her stepdaughters Bridget McKnight of Raleigh, Dawn Kee of Raleigh, Tanisha (Howard) Wilson of Conover; her grandchildren Janecia Stewart, Demario Stewart, Julian Reid, Kaila Reid; step-grandchildren Kendall Fortner, Tony Kee, Lakaishia Swint, Senquajja Hardeman, Jasyra Simakan, and Zyleah Wilson; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and a slew of cousins, nieces, nephews, and special girlfriends.

The memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 17th, 2022, at Jenkins Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, September 17th, 2022, at Jenkins Funeral Home.
