Nancy Carroll

Nancy Lou Carroll 78, of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2017 after an extended battle with cancer. Born June 20,1938 she was the daughter of the late David Yoder and Louise Pitts Yoder.   In addition to her husband of 58 years Bobby Carroll; two daughters Vickie Smith and husband Steve of Denver, Pamela Carroll of Texas; three sisters Desola Bishop and husband David of Hickory, Mary Kahill and husband Joel of Hickory, Gail Cranford of Newton; three grandchildren, Tiffany Filbeck and husband Ray of Hickory, NC, Kristen Henderson and Lee of Mt. Holly, NC, Bobby Brown of Charlotte, NC; three great grandchildren, Nathaniel Filbeck, Annabelle Filbeck and Ryan Henderson survive her. In addition to her parents a grandson Nathan Waters preceded her in death.   The funeral will be 3pm Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Crump officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel UCC in Hickory. The family will receive friends from 1:30- 3:00pm Tuesday March 7, 2017 at the Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Seth Crump, Jay Carroll, Doug Jenkins, Tony Waters, George Hilton, and Steve Hilton.
Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Bishop, Danny Bishop, Terry Bishop, Kenny Welch, Chad Puett, and Eric Puett.
