Nancy Rudisill

Nancy Louise Rudisill, 82, of Hickory passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Hickory Village Memory Care. Born January 24th, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Henry Blake Carver and Julia Ann Carver. Nancy loved being a mom to her seven children and cooking for everyone, especially pinto beans. She always enjoyed reading her Bible and singing her gospel hymns.

She is survived by her two daughters Linda Rudisill of Hickory and Jeannie Brown (Ronald) of Hickory; three sons Hank Rudisill (Rebecca) of Hickory, Rickey Rudisill of Hickory, and Gary Rudisill of Hickory; four sisters Frances Killian, Betty Barts, Johnnie Shelton, and Rachel Kilby all of Hickory; one brother Randy Carver of Newton; nineteen grandchildren; and thirty-nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Buster Rudisill; one daughter Sylvia Walker; one son Larry Rudisill; two sister Patsy Smith and Annie Mae Crews; one brother Billy Carver; three grandchildren Tyler Floyd, Brandon Rudisill, and Timothy Rudisill.

The funeral will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Alex Rudisill and Eddie Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Community Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-1:45 pm Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
