Ned Adams

Ned Roosevelt Adams, 75 of Rocky Ridge Road, Connelly Springs died Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born November 7, 1936 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Spencer Roosevelt Adams and Sara Ella Nora Whitener Adams. Ned was retired from Hickory Chair after many years of service. Two daughters; Kathy Young and husband Jeff of Hickory and Debbie Frazier and husband Mike of Claremont; four sisters, Mildred Rink of Hickory, Mathalda Hartness and husband David of Newton, Elizabeth Ching of Hawaii, Betty Ballard and husband Jerry of Hickory; six grandchildren, Tasha Carlisle, Jeff Young, Jamie Hicks, Mikayla Frazier, Hunter Frazier and Adam Frazier; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews survive him. Four brothers, Troy Whitener, Bill Church, Ted Adams and Herbert Adams preceded him in death. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the funeral home.
