Nellie Little

Nellie Sue Cruse Little, 60 of Whispering Pine Drive died Sunday at Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born July 3, 1946 in Catawba County, she was a homemaker and the daughter of the late Leonard Brady Cruse and Suella Sarah Coulter Cruse. Survivors include her husband, Jack R. Little of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Chad Landis of Newton; a son Mark Timothy Little of Newton; a sister, Vivian Cruse Jordan of Conover; two nephews, Samuel Jordan of Conover and Joseph Jordan of Newton and four grandchildren, Felicia Little and Taylor Little both of Conover, Colter Little of Newton and Macy Landis of Newton. A Celebration of Nellieâ??s life will be 3 p.m. Wednesday April 18, 2007 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Startown. Pastor Chris Christopher and Vicar Kevin Powers will officiate. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Conover Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home.
