Nelson Overcash

Nelson Wayne Overcash, 52 of Conover died Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at Carolina Rehab Center of Burke. Born January 29th, 1965 he was the son of the late Larry Overcash and Joyce Dennis Overcash. He spent most of his time as a auto mechanic. Nelson was very proud to have received a Associate Degree in Accounting. His favorite though was fishing.   Wife, Anita Overcash; son, Jason Overcash and wife Beth Frank of Statesville, NC; daughter, Ashley Overcash and husband Daniel Proefrock of Sherrills Ford, NC;  Step-daughter Chrissy Blalock and husband Chuck of Newton, NC; step-son, Casey Buchanan and wife Kristy of Conover, NC; mother, Joyce Dennis Overcash of Conover, NC; sister, Susan Spicer and husband Michael of Winston Salem, NC; brother, Lewis Overcash of Troutnman, NC; 12 grandchildren survive him. Father, Larry Wayne Overcash preceded h in death. The memorial service will be 5:30 pm Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 at Providence Baptist Church in Maiden, NC.
