Nelson Sigman

Nelson Daniel Sigman, Jr. 57 of Hickory died May 26, 2013 at his residence. Born August 17, 1955 he was the son of the late Nelson Daniel Sigman, Sr. and Frances Rebecca Sigman. He was lifelong farmer and a member of Sardis Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was longtime member of the Propst Crossroads Fire Department. Two sisters; Karen Sigman of Vale and Sharon Rhoney of Vale: one brother, Bruce Sigman and wife Sharon of Hickory; a half sister, Jean Chucci and husband Richard of Newton; numerous nieces and nephews survive him. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Sardis Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Anna Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery with honors provided by the Propst Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department.
