Neng Xiong

Neng Thor Xiong, 82 of Rock Barn Road, Claremont died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at his residence. Born June 15, 1928, he was the son of the late Ka Ge Xiong & Ia Vang. In addition to his wife, Yer Thor of the home; three daughters, Ge Xiong of Laos, Tong Xiong of Sacramento, Ca., Mee Xiong of Hickory; two sons, Kee Xiong of Claremont, Chai Xiong of Conover; three sisters, Tria Xiong, Nhia Xiong and Chi Xiong, all of Laos; and two brothers, Pa Tou Xiong & Cha Teng Xiong, both of Laos survive him. The Hmong funeral will begin at 8:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 and will conclude at noon Sunday, October 31, 2010. The family will receive friends during this time at the Startown Gathering Center at Jenkins Funeral Home on Startown Road. Burial will be noon Sunday at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
