Nina French

Nina Gail Hayes French, 75, of Maiden died Sunday, March 4th, 2018 at Carolina Rehab Center of Burke where she received much loving care. Born September 21st, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Douglas (D.O.) Taylor and Una Virginia Collins Taylor. Nina was a 1960 Graduate of Happy Valley High School and had her Associates of Applied Science as a Occupational Therapy Assistant from Caldwell Community College. She was a former member of Yadkin Baptist Church, Setzers Creek Baptist Church, and Startown First Baptist.  She was a wonderful loving mother, sister, and was very active with her church family. Nina lived life to the fullest and enjoyed God's beautiful country.

A daughter Regina Hayes and husband Danny Bentley of Lenoir; two sons Brent Hayes of Lakeland, FL, Scott Hayes and wife Christy of Lenoir; two step sons John and Chris French; a sister Mona Munday and husband Dennis of Granite Falls; a close cousin Rita Tuttle of Lenoir; 3 step grand daughters survive her.

Nina is preceded in death by her first husband W. Clifford Hayes; and her second husband John French as well as a sister, Penny Taylor Friend.

A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 pm Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at Yadkin Baptist Church with Pastor Daren Smart officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-12:00 pm Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at Yadkin Baptist Church.
