Orville Henry Jaekel 90 of Maiden died February 17, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Born May 22nd, 1922 he was the son of the late Walter Gust Jaekel and Mary Neske Jaekel. For 35 years, he worked for Oak Grove Dairy in Norwood, MN.
A daughter, Linda Kay Freeland of Fernly, NV; a son, Thomas Henry Jaekel of Maiden; a sister, Marcella Reike of Vaconia, MN; a brother, Waldo Jaekel of Vaconia, MN and four grandchildren, Kim, Matt, Todd and Tamera survive him.
A celebration of Orville's life will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday February 21, 2013 at First Christian Church of Newton with Pastor Alan Watson officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
