Pamela Goodroe

Pamela Jo Goodroe 69 of Charlotte formerly of Hickory died Friday, January 28, 2022 at Novant Health Medical Center. Born May 31st, 1952 she was the daughter of James Columbus DeHart and Edna Nolan DeHart. She was an avid reader who loved to travel. She loved her family unconditionally no matter the circumstance. She was formerly the comptroller at Catawba Memorial Park. She was always one to be interested in the well fair of friends and family.

Her husband of 27 years David Goodroe of the home; a daughter, Jamie Killian of Gastonia; two sisters, Patricia Blanchard and husband Jeff of HIckory and Susan Ollis and husband Danny of Bethlehem; numerous nieces and nephews survive her.

In addition to her parents, James Columbus DeHart and Edna Nolan DeHart a brother, DAvid Nolan DeHart preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 pm Thursday February 3, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Causby officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm prior to the service in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home .
