Patricia Cauthen Bell

Patricia Cauthen Bell, 87, of Newton died Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Carolina Caring. Born January 21st, 1938 she was the daughter of the late John Hayward Cauthen and Lorene Cline Cauthen. Patricia graduated as Salutatorian of the class of 1956 from Fred T. Foard High School. She was a faithful member of the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church and her years of employment consisted of being a bookkeeper, office manager and Vice President of Administration. She enjoyed traveling anywhere and collected Lighthouse memorabilia. She is loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Two daughters, Cathy (Tim) Jones and Caren (Tim) Howard; her sister, Elaine Williams; four grandchildren, Josh Jones (Brittany), Jenny Corbin (Adam), Emily Howard and Sara Howard; four great-grandchildren, Bryson, Graham, Landon and Anna and four special friends, Phyllis, Sharon, Kathy and Paulette survive her.

In addition to her parents, her husband of 54 years, Jackie Bell preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 4:00 P.M. on Saturday February 22, 2025 at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church with Pastor Steven Johnson Officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 P.M. and burial will follow at the church.
