Patricia Herndon

Patricia (Patti) Marie Herndon, 49, of Lee Cline Road, Conover died Sunday November 27, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born December 23, 1955 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of Bobby Ray Hollifield of Hickory and the late Melba Jean Barringer Hollifield. She was a 1974 graduate of St. Stephens High School and worked at Catawba Valley Medical Center for 18 years as a Registered Nurse. Survivors in addition to her father include two daughters, Emily Beth Herndon and Melina Renae Herndon of the home, a sister, Pam and her husband Tony Watson of Hickory, and three grandchildren, Lance Cathcart, Darion Wolfe and Ellianna Wolfe. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Springs Road Baptist Church where she was a member. Pastor Arthur O. Yount will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brad Watson, Greg Watson, Steve Hathcock, Chase Ledford, Randy Ledford and Wayne Reinhardt. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.jenkinsfuneralservices.com.
