Patricia Warf

Patricia Louise Welch Warf, 76 of Hickory died Friday, September 1st, 2017 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born September 18th, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Rev. Mack and Lucille McIntyre Welch. She worked in food service at St. Stephens High School and also worked with Hamrick's for several years. She was an active member of Trinity Reformed UCC in Conover.   Her husband, Lawrence Hassell Warf of the home; a son, Lawrence Victor Warf of Aurora, OH; two sisters, Donna Welch Chandler and husband Donald of Virgilina, VA and Grace Welch Spangler and husband Thomas of Eutawville, SC and several nieces and nephews survive her. A daughter, Andrea Dawn Warf Westbrook preceded her in death. The funeral will be 11am Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ in Conover with Rev. Peggy Stout officiating. Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 am Tuesday September 12, 2017 at the church.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Reformed UCC in 217 Second Avenue, Conover, NC 28613.
