Patty Mcmanus

Patty Dye McManus, 73, of Hickory passed away Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 at Mission Hospital. Born, June 8th, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Hester Horton.
She loved her family, food, church and taking care of people.

She is survived by her children, April Shook and her husband Kirk of Granite Falls, Julie Hess of Hickory, and Eric Alexander of Hickory; her grandchildren, Jimmy Hess, Chris Hess, Shelby Alexander, Ashton Alexander, Jacob Alexander, and Haylie Alexander; her great grandchildren, Mason Hess, Kayden Dunn, Kristen Easter, Faith Easter and Kevin Easter; and two special friends Roger McManus and Rick Barnes.

In addition to her mother, Hester Horton, her former husband, Harry Adrain Alexander and her son, Harry Kevin Alexander, her sister, Brenda Pettigrew and two brothers preceded her in death.

There will be a Memorial Service at 3:00 P.M. in Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 10, 2024. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
