Peggy Mcgee

Peggy Sue Furr McGee, 81, of Collettsville passed away Monday August 31, 2020 at Elmcroft of Newton. Born October 14,1938, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Ardenia Benton Furr.
Peggy is survived her husband Roy McGee of 64 years; a son Allen McGee; a daughter Donna Spivey (Ed); granddaughters Lauren Zagurski (Michael) and Samantha Lister (Dakota); grandson Joe Spivey; great-granddaughters Blythe Zagurski and Blakely Lister; and great-grandson Rhys Zagurski.
Peggy spent her life taking care of her home. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Peggy was a member of Muvale Baptist Church of Collettsville.
In addition to her parents, a son Roy (Macky) McGee Jr., preceded her in death.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday September 8, 2020 at Trinity UMC of Charlotte 6230 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216. Rev. Brian Smith of Mullvale Baptist church will be officiating.
Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the graveside service at the church.
