Peggy Setzer

Peggy Ann Setzer, 91, of Newton passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Grace Heights Health and Rehabilitation. Born October 8th, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Edgar Marvin Setzer and Mary Ellen Setzer.
Peggy was an independent woman who loved thrift shopping, vegetable canning, and her dog Katy.
She is survived by her daughter Vickie Dickson, her grandchildren Daniel Williams (wife Dawn Williams) and Amanda Williams Bruce (husband Michael Bruce), her great-grandchildren Rylie Williams, Owen Dickson, and Cameron Dickson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Matthew Dickson and all of her siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Catawba County, 3224 20th Ave SE, Hickory, NC 28602.
