Peter Brown

Peter Lawrence Brown Jr., 66 of Glenwood St., Sherrills Ford died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. Born April 7, 1944 he was the son of the late Peter Lawrence Brown Sr. & Elizabeth Tilly Obrigewistch Brown. His wife, Jane Lea Kirkton Brown of the home; a daughter, Amanda Brown Hege of Hickory; a son, Rodney Travis Brown of Cummings, Ga.; three sisters, Pat Brown of Billings Mt., Betty Spears of Billings Mt., and Barbara Brown of Mt.; two brothers, Dan Brown of Billings, Mt., and Mike Brown of Fresno, Ca.; seven grand-children, Cody Abernathy, Makenna Abernathy, Ansley Abernathy, Megan Hege, Nathan Hege, Jonah Brown and David Brown survive him. Two brothers, John and Bill Brown and a grand-son, Carter Brown preceded him in death. The funeral service will be Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Denver Baptist Church. Pastor Robin Rowe will officiate. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior from 1:30-2 pm at the church. Memorials may be made to N.C. Baptist Men, PO Box 1107, Cary, NC 27512.
