Phia Xiong, 30 of Gentry Lane, York, S.C. died September 21, 2008 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rockhill, S.C. He was born, June 15, 1978 in Thailand. He is survived by his wife, Mai Sai Thao; his father, Chue Xiong and mother, Ma Thao; two daughters, Goanou Xiong and Bobai Xiong, of the home; five sons, Leedong Xiong, Leekong Xiong, Yenkong Xiong, Yupeng Xiong, Chuyee Xiong, of the home; three sisters, Der Xiong of Greensboro, Bao Xiong and See Xiong of Alaska; five brothers, Blong Xiong of Rock Hill, S.C., Yee Xiong, Pao Xiong, Mong Xiong and Kong Meng Xiong of Alaska. Mr. Xiong was a mechanic with Lance Crackers. Celebration of Hmong rituals will be at Jenkins Funeral Home in the Startown Gathering Center beginning on Friday, September 26, 2008.
