Philip Hart

Philip Daniel Hart, 22 of Wintergreen Drive, Raleigh died Saturday, November 7, 2009 at his residence. Born May 26, 1987 to Eric Wayne Hart of Raleigh & Malinda Settlemyre Day of Connelly Springs, NC. Philip attended Sanderson High School in Raleigh, graduated from East Burke High School in 2007, where he was a member of the ROTC program. He was a Boy Scout and a certified electrical apprentice from Job Corps in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, his maternal step-father, Danny Allen Day of Connelly Springs, NC; paternal step-mother, Lihua Zhao of Raleigh; step-brother, Cory Day of Gamewell, NC; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins; Maternal grandparents, Daniel & Andris Settlemyre of Newton; a step-grandmother, Lucy Day of Connelly Springs; Godfather, Timothy Wise of Greensboro survive him. A brother; James (Jamie) Charles Hart and Paternal grand-parents, James & Margaret Hart preceded him in death. A Celebration of Philipâ??s life will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Mays Chapel Methodist Church in Maiden. The Rev. David Kelley will officiate.  A later service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Raleigh.
