Pink Swink, Jr. of Cat Square passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Born May 26th, 1946 he was the son of the late Pink Ivey Swink and Lola Creola Swink.
He loved his grandkids, his wife, his tractor, and his garden. He loved piddling behind the house, but most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Carolyn May Swink, his children Tammy (Todd) Keener of Lincolnton, Amy (Allen) Leatherman of Vale, and Jamie (Tonya) Swink of Lincolnton, grandchildren Caleb and Noah Keener of Lincolnton, Peyton Leatherman of Vale, Landon Eastridge of Lincolnton, and J.T. Leatherman of Vale, one great-granddaughter Caroline Keener, and several siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Pink Ivey Swink, his mother Lola Creola Swink, and his siblings Tommy Gene Swink, Jimmy Swink, Johnny Swink, Ruby Helms, Toad Canipe, Paul Swink, and Betty Swink.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 12th, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Jenkins Funeral Home. Receiving will be from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 12th, 2022 in the Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
