Rachel Frye

Rachel went home to be with her loved ones on September 12, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Rachel was born on September 12, 1962 to Mary Young and Verlin Adams. She was proceeded in death by her parents, as well as her son J.R. Frye, her grandmother Vangie Canipe, Aunts Evelyn Davis and Flossie Greene. She is survived by her son, Chad Adams and grandsons, Cody Adams, Chase Adams and Jon Adams; brother Junior Adams & wife Denise; sister Hilda Minton, Aunt Rlee Schronce, Uncle David Canipe, nieces and nephews, Shane Adams, Amie Travis, Kevin Minton, Victoria Willis, Casey Clark, Summer Travis, Jacob Adams, Dalton and Brodie Willis, as well as many other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at North Brook Baptist Church at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 16th. Officiating the service will be Pastor Robert Wise. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for funeral expenses. Jenkins Funeral Home is assisting the family. The funeral will be 7:00pm Friday, September 16th, 2016 at North Brook Baptist Church in Cherryville The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm -7:00 pm Friday, September 16th, 2016 at the Church.
