Rachel Neal

Rachel Gray Neal 77 of Lincolnton died Sunday June 30th, 2013 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born December 23rd, 1935 she was the daughter of the William Bunda Reardon and Nellie Byrd Reardon. She was a business owner in the west side of Charlotte for 15 years. Two daughters, Linda Stepp Fletcher and husband Mike of Lake Wales, FL and Eva Stepp of Lincolnton; six grandchildren, Bryan Stepp, Amber Rhyne, Joshua Stepp, Heidi Starr, Megan Stepp and Samantha Vittitow; four great-grandchildren, Sean, Nicholas, Justin Stepp and Gavin Rhyne; Jim Simmons of Milford, DE and the extended Simmons Family and several nieces and nephews survive her. In addition to her parents, two sons, Nicholas Stepp and Sidney Stepp; seven sisters, Mary, Maxine, Leola, Josephine, Ala Mae, Nellie and Lucille and a brother, C.B. Reardon preceded her in death. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Wednesday July 3rd, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Taylor and Pastor William Calvert officiating. Burial will held at a later date at the Stepp family cemetery in Mohawk, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm one hour prior to the service Wednesday July 3rd, 2013 at the funeral home.
