Ralph Martin

Ralph James Martin 47 of Gracie lane, Vale died Monday, January 16, 2006 at his residence after a brief battle with cancer. Born January 28, 1958 in Catawba County he was the son of the late Ralph Junior Martin and Patricia Ann Minton Wilson of Hickory. He was employed at Weyerhaeuser Corrugated Box Newton Plant. Two daughters, Laura Geneva Martin and Katherine Dean Martin both of Florence, Alabama, two sons, Ralph James Trivette and Michael James Martin, both of Hickory, two sisters, Pat Sain of Catawba and Tammie Fox of Conover, two half brothers, Doug Martin of Vale and Dewayne Martin of Hickory and a special friend, Vickie Matthews of Vale survive him. A Ceremony celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 28, 2006, his 48th birthday, at his residence, 6670 Gracie Lane in Vale.
