Ralph Snyder

Ralph Braxton Snyder, Jr., 68 of Viera, FL died Thursday, December 31st, 2015 at his residence due to complications derived from Agent Orange while serving in the US Army in Vietnam. Born January 11th, 1947 he was the son of the late Ralph Snyder, Sr. and Cleo Tate Snyder. His wife, Cheryl Marie Dority Snyder of the home; three sons, Mark Andrew Snyder and wife Kimberly of Bostic, Phillip Michael Snyder and wife Mary of Rutherfordton and Timothy Aaron Snyder of Forest City; a brother, William Clay Snyder and wife Luann of Caledmia, MI; a sister, Sheila Majors and husband Steve of McHenry, MD; a step daughter, Kimberly Crawford Collie and husband Alan of Newton; and a step son, John Wesley Lawter and wife Amy of Whitesboro, NY; four grandsons, Stephen Snyder, Adam Snyder, Jonathan Snyder and Matthew Snyder; two step grandchildren, Hayley Lawter and Abbey Lawter and three step grandchildren, Seth Collie, Tori Collie and Grace Collie survive him. A sister, Susan Myers preceded him in death. The funeral will be 11:00 am Thursday January 7, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Military Rites will be immediately following the ceremony at the funeral home and will be provided by American Legion Post 16. Burial will follow at the NC State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain.
