Ralph Trivette

Ralph McCoy Trivette, 86 of Hickory died Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at his residence. Born May 24th, 1930 he was the son of the late Cicero Trivette and Frankie Trivette Hunt. He was a truck driver and drove race cars. He enjoyed working flea markets in his later years. Three sons, Robert Trivette and wife Deborah of Newton; Timothy Mark and wife Janice of Hickory and James Eric Trivette of Cherryville; three daughters, Kathy Trivette Bollinger and husband David of Hickory, Kristi Trivette Bernard and husband Perry of Hickory and Frankie Lea Trivette of Virginia; four brothers, Albert Trivette and wife Donnell of Hickory, Alfred Trivette and wife Carolyn of Granite Falls, Vance Snyder and wife Beverly of Taylorsville and J.R. Trivette of Hickory; a sister, Frances Whisnant of Hickory, 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild survives him. His wife Sue Hamby Trivette, three sons, Junior, Allen and Lee Trivette preceded him in death. A celebration of life will be held 5:00 pm Sunday, November 13th, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Yount officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-5:00 pm Sunday, November 13th, 2016 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association 4 N.
