Ray Kiziah

Ray Junior Kiziah, 70 of Newton died Monday, November 3rd, 2014 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born July 12th, 1944 he was the son of the late Johnny Allen Kiziah and Rosie Mae Davis Kiziah. He enjoyed following Wrestling, going to the beach, watching his grandchildren's ballgames and following Newton-Conover sports on the radio. He is formerly employed by Carolina Mills for 30 years, worked at Hickory Springs for 13 years and at Foamex for eight years. A daughter, Stella (Cindy) Kiziah Conner and husband Scott of Newton; a son, Titus Ray Kiziah and wife Teirra (Tina) of Newton; a brother Jim Kiziah and wife, Sarah of Claremont; four sisters, Mary McNeely of Claremont, Diane Bristo and husband Henry of Hickory, Brenda Kiziah of Newton, Barbara Jean Pearson and husband Jimmy of Hiddenite four grandchildren, Spencer Christian Kiziah, Heather Nicole Aaron Conner, Alexa Ann Kiziah and Madison Paige Conner survive him. His wife of 48 years, Linda Emma Huffman Kiziah; two brothers, Cecil Kiziah and David Kiziah and a sister Shirley Mae Kiziah preceded him in death. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Newton.
