Reba Gilleland

Reba Brown Gilleland, 91, of Conover died Sunday, January 21, 2024. Born January 9th, 1933 she was the daughter of Alex S. Brown and Jennie Wiles Brown. She was a member of Fairgrove Baptist Church since they started. Reba loved to read and enjoyed Gospel music.

Reba is preceded in death by parents, Alex and Jennie Brown; husbands, Ben Roberts and Slade Gilleland, grandson, Dusty Roberts, two daughter in laws, Denice Roberts and Jan Roberts; and four brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by son, Michael Roberts of Hickory; son, David Roberts and wife Jan of Conover; grandchildren, Michael B. Roberts, Angela Short and husband Jimmy, and Casey Roberts and wife Lauren; great grandchildren, Abby Short, Cody Short, Liam Roberts and Eve Roberts; and her best friend Evelyn Parsons.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 Oxford Baptist Church Cemetery, 5965 Springs Rd, Conover, NC 28613
