Mothers are gifts on loan from God. We never know how long but the time is precious. Whether you called her “Ms. Childers,” “Becky,” “Momma,” or “Nana,” she was a precious gift for you to treasure. Her legacy lives on in many forms: her daughters, who both became loving and caring mothers and dedicated teachers; her fellow teachers who she mentored in her ways of teaching; her students who she inspired to be the greatest versions of themselves that they could possibly dream; and her grandchildren who display her confidence, strength and personality. She lives on in the hearts of the ones who love her and were lucky enough to know the selfless and giving person that she was. Rebecca “Becky” Guffey Childers loved unconditionally and Proverbs 31:10 describes her best... A virtuous woman whose price is far above rubies...
