Rebecca Dunn

Rebecca Anne Dunn, 56 of Hickory went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 7th, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born July 19th, 1959 she was the daughter of the late Margaret Mashburn and Jackie Mashburn of Conover. Rebecca's love for people was evidenced by her chosen profession of being a nurse for 30 years.She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Two sons, Christopher Scott Dunn of Waynesboro, VA and Daniel Lee Dunn and wife Nina of Verona, VA; her father, Jackie Mashburn of Conover; a brother, Mark Mashburn and wife Cheri of Conover; two grandchildren, Shailey Elkins and Meadow Dunn; a niece, Ally Mashburn and a nephew, John Mashburn survive her. A Celebration of Rebecca's life will be 5:00 pm Monday, April 11th, 2016 at New Life Church with Pastor Steve Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-5:00 pm Monday, April 11th, 2016 at New Life Church.
