Rebecca Diane Goodman, 68, of Hiddenite passed away Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 at Gordon Hospice House, of Iredell County.
Born March 19th, 1950, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Eugene Goodman and the late Alta Jewel McSwain Goodman.
In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Goodman.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Dale Stiles and husband Chad of Stony Point and Angela Hughes and husband Jimmy of Hiddenite; a son, William Redmond, Jr. of Statesville; two sisters, Patricia Rogers and husband Ray of Kannapolis and Sheila Lear and husband Wayne of Mooresville; four grandchildren, Kallie Barnes (Rob), Miranda Robinson (Shannon); Lane McHargue; and Miranda Stiles White (Adam); and five great-grandchildren, Paisley, Emily, Cooper, Lyla and Cayson.
A Celebration of Life for family, close friends, and church family is scheduled for Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church in Statesville.
Memorials may be made to Gordon Hospice House of Iredell County. The family would like to thank the Gordon Hospice House staff for their constant care and compassion for Ms. Goodman.
