Rella Reid

Rella Ann Reid, 48 of Lincolnton went home to be with the Lord at 10:05 p.m. on Saturday June 22, 2013 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, with her loving partner by her side. Born September 30, 1964 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of James Ray ?Bus? Reid and Patsy Ann Hall Reid of Granite Falls. Rella loved Scooby-Doo and collected memorabilia most of her life. She enjoyed researching genealogy and loved the beach. In addition to her parents; her loving partner of 18 years, Cathy Ann Alvis of the home; a sister, Reba Eileen Reid of Hickory; her brother, Ryan Logan Reid of Granite Falls; and many nieces and nephews survive her. The funeral service will be 3:00 P.M, Wednesday June, 26 2013 in the chapel at Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00P.M., Wednesday June, 26 2013 in the chapel.
