Revonda Harris

Revonda Pearl Miller Harris, 91, of Hickory passed away Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 at Trinity Ridge. Born May 25th, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Loy Franklin Miller and Zelda Pearl Miller.

Revonda was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. She loved dancing and was a member of Zodiac Dance Club for more than 20 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Yvonne Fox of Bethlehem, NC; a son, Michael Eugene (Marla) Harris of Taylorsville, NC; a brother, Joe Ervin Miller of Hickory; grandsons David (Liz) Fox of Hampton, VA, and Ethan Fox of Hickory; great-grandson Ollie Fox of Hampton, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Revonda was preceded in death by her son, David Franklin Harris, and her siblings Dorothy Nell Miller Reed, Charles Franklin Miller, Mary Frances Miller Yount, John Alvin Miller, Barbara Jean Miller Isenhour, Evelyn Elizabeth Miller Pitts, Helen Virginia Miller Frye, and Harold William Miller.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church.

The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 5, 2023 with Reverend David Drysdale officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
