Richard Levesque

Richard Mark Levesque, 63, of Hickory passed away Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born, April 7th, 1961, he was the son of Edward Leon Levesque and Sandra Jean Levesque.

He is survived by his siblings, Jeff Levesque, David Levesque, and Bonnie Levesque.

He graduated from Fred T Ford High School in 1981. After high school he went into the Navy and then returned to civilian life. He worked as a machinist, then worked as a professional industrial maintenance person and even did all the new wiring for a factory in Claremont that he worked at for a few years. He was a hard worker, sometimes working seven days a week. Richard was a quiet person until he got to know you and when he liked you, he would talk and open up.

Richard's huge heart and readiness to lend a hand whenever possible touched many lives, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. Richard found solace and joy in the majestic mountains of Tennessee, where he would often retreat for vacations. These journeys were filled with adventure, tranquility, and cherished memories, reflective of the happy, spirited life he led. His legacy of kindness and love for life will continue to inspire and guide those he leaves behind.
